After the terrific Lee Jofa presentation, I caught the Kravet presentation of Barclay Butera.

What a breath of fresh air Barclay is!  Extremely positive energy radiates from this man.  He has an incredibly successful design business and a new book, “Living In Style” published by Assouline, out right now.  (I just love the Assouline books…so beautiful!)

Barclay highlighted best practices for surviving the new economy.  Some of his advice include:  focus on grass roots of your core business, service, service, service, client are nesting more – develop your clients for life by creating positive experiences and results.  After, Barclay graciously signed his books.  I left feeling re-energized.  Brilliant.
