Project Update: Entertainment Cabinet

entertainment afterAfter

For a European style home in Southern California, I designed an entertainment center in the spirit of the many French antiques that my client owns.

It was important that the built-in cabinetry looked like a piece of furniture and that the curves softened the overall look and feel.

Function was also a major component and precise compartments were built for each piece of electronics, speakers, storage, and art display.

Here is the before picture when the client purchased the property.

The first recommendation I made was to tear out the beige carpet and lay wonderful limestone flooring.

Wall and cabinet paint were then selected to compliment the furnishings and reflect light throughout the living room.
